We had the good fortune of connecting with Clizzy Houston and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clizzy, what matters most to you?
Loyalty is key to me. When I say loyalty, I truly mean loyalty in the most unfabricated way. The method to that logic is grasping a true understanding of what loyalty is and in most cases, it’s a conditioned behavior. Loyalty to me is synonymous with commitment. You first have to be taught by example from a committed individual whose sole purpose is to make sure that you undoubtedly connect mentally, spiritually, and physically with the grit of being loyal. For me, I’ve never burned any bridges that didn’t deserve to be set on fire and I pride myself in mastering that art. I’m committed to God, myself, and everyone that divine purpose has designed for me to cross timelines with. The commitment of not only establishing relationships but building them as well puts me ahead of the curve in the networking business. Everyone knows, your network is equal to your net worth and I couldn’t agree more! The basic principles of loyalty have increased the capacity of my own Rolodex and have strengthened the trust factor and building power within my own team. We’ve learned to build within and around each other to create opportunities that would be unbeknownst to us if loyalty wasn’t such an X-factor. I believe commitment reveals trust and trust embraces the connection between one or more people, that if not divided, equals LOYALTY. That same loyalty carries out a legacy that will supersede any one individual and fulfill the purpose of all. I like to call that a TIMELESS DYNASTY.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I believe I start to separate from the crowd as a dreamer. I’m a strong believer in dreaming. Never stop dreaming, don’t be a dream killer, and never let anyone else kill your dream. I believe I’m one of the few that dares to dream like a kid yet plan like an adult. I’m most proud of my current team. Although my current team just so happens to be compiled of individuals I’ve known for at least a decade, we’ve all completed our 180’s and have transformed into a serious powerhouse. This team has also changed my mindset on how to make moves and lean on each other’s strengths instead of dwelling on our weaknesses. I’ve always been a DIY type of guy so my shoulders have always been heavily burdened due to my lack of utilization within the village. It took Brick Wall Studio CEO, Sonny Cheebs, to kindly remind me to utilize what you have then we outsource. I must admit, once those pieces of the puzzle became clear to me, we started outsourcing from the inside and created an instant wave of attention that continues to grow since the past year. My guy Big E just evaluated my career and said ” If this wasn’t going far, there would be no speed bumps”, so I’m enjoying every bit of this raggedy road! For anyone that follows my brand, story, and every story arch I connect with, just know that I’m willing to ride this thing until the wheels fall off and then walk the necessary miles. In other words, the route may have changed but the destination remains the same. Stay tuned……#PalmMoves

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
Well….current times and circumstances have drastically put a halt to our touring capabilities but if I could rewind pre-Covid, I would like to move around downtown Atlanta and soak up the city structures and lights. I particularly like the Sky Lounge setup where you can overview the city over drinks and conversation. I particularly would recommend checking out the MLK Center and refreshing yourself on connecting with a true visionary that once roamed the area. I particularly find some of the most random interesting people in the Little 5 Points area around Krog Street, they have some dope murals and colorful artwork intertwined around those spaces and you might witness an artist or two partaking in a photoshoot. As for eats, there are so many choices out there but I am partial to Marietta Fish Market in the Marietta area. Their seafood selection, dessert, and hospitality are unmatched! Plenty of places to experience but definitely worth the exploration if undecided.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Really and truly, Shoutout to GOD!!! Without HIM I wouldn’t have been blessed to be in the presence of my Mom and Dad, of course, Chris, B., Shel, Blue & Eli Da $aint(THE FAB 3), J-Suave of 45 Secrets, Wayne G & Sean G of Grimthology, Sonny Cheebs of BrickWall, Mel P of M.Pemberton Designs, B.Hicks of 829 Group, Willie J of Triple M Productions, OG Derk of CullerBlend Ent., Hylyda & Luccie Fontane of PenFoLQ, Melissa of Svnty8Visuals, Griffin&Poole, Big E of NEAS and Alex Bouquet.
