We had the good fortune of connecting with Clemesa M Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Clemesa M, other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
The most important decision I made that contributed to my success, was when I changed my mindset and I started to believe that I was enough, I was deserving and destine to become successful.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Mesa Beauty-The Beauty & Aesthetics Studio strives for elegance and class, what sets me apart from others: I pride myself in providing exceptional top notch customer service, bringing passion and creativity while giving all my clients from my celebrity /luxury clients to the everyday client just wanting to feel beautiful for the day, the same elegant experience.

I’m proud that I stepped out on faith and gave my vison to God; I’m excited to see his hand on everything that I touch, which is mind blowing at times.

I’m where I am today because of my faith, perseverance and staying consistent to the gift that I was blessed with.

Although it’s a rewarding field to play in, it hasn’t always been easy. There was a time when I was taking clients at my in home studio, which a lot of artist has started from there as well so, I’m definitely not judging anyone. But, I knew I wanted more for my business, I allowed self doubt to paralyze me from thinking I could not make it. I would say to myself, would I be able to afford the weekly suite rent? what if your clients don’t follow you? If, I increase my rate would I lose clients?

I overcame these challenges once I was invited to work with the spa owner, where my suite is located at now, where I assisted in performing a couples facial on two occasions.

I’m a visionary, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and I loved the experience that I was able to provide to the client and could see myself having my own suite, it was from that experience I made up my mind and  knew I was going to step out on faith and go for it.

I’ve learned a lot of lessons through this journey, for starters ; I learned my worth and have better understanding of who I am and who’s I am.

I’ve learned not to compare my style of artistry to anyone elses as we’re all uniquely made. Beauty is a billion dollar industry and there is room for everyone to grow and become successful. I’m the artist of my life, I hold my own brush and paint my own picture

I want the world to know that Mesa beauty is not just about makeup, skincare and cosmetics, It’s about building relationships, I want to be known for helping others to recognize their purpose and seeing their enter beauty as as well as the outer beauty. Mesa Beauty is where the art of elegant skin, health and beauty become one to achieve a flawless look.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in the Dallas/DFW metroplex, If one of my friends were to come visit me, I would take them to Pappadeaux Seafood kitchen for lunch because I love seafood and would have them order the sautéed crab fingers OMG!! I love these. Dinner would be at La Sirena Mexican Seafood & Bar located in Grand Prairie TX, because Mexican food is a second favorite. On that Sunday I would invite them to Dayspring Family church located in Irving Tx, under the leadership of Bishop Kevin K Dickerson and Pastor Sonja B Dickerson and have a great time in wordship.
