Hi CJCookinUp, what do you attribute your success to?
Discipline and consistency. Setting goals and sticking to them is a good start but actually working on my craft everyday and enjoying the process is when I started to see results

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Getting to where I’m at not was simply just me willing to try new things and just work harder than everyone else. If you put the time in then then you want go un noticed, I never spent much time thinking about the “what if’s” and what not, I knew I put the time in there is no way for it not to work. That’s what I have been built on, thinking outside the box in terms of pushing out music as a producer and keeping it consistent over time when it came to just making beats and uploading content on YouTube.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The studio. If they were to come visit me I would take to a long studio session typicall t from 11-2, so they understand that not working a 9-5 means you’re working longer than 9-5.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The main artist I work with and close friend D4 is one of the main reasons i got to where I’m at on a creativity stand point. One of the best upcoming artist not just in Atlanta but the entire east coast and a work ethic that’s un matched, he’s going to be one of the biggest artist in the industry coming up here soon.
