Meet Cisalo Harris | Recording artist, cinematographer & entreprenuer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cisalo Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cisalo, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
I would say treat it like the human body. The body only dies when the spirit leaves, once the spirit is taken out of something it’s time to give it up

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I wanted a way that I could make music and not be a starving artist while doing it. I simply took my artist name & got it registered as a business. Once I did that I opened up bank accounts under that name & worked on building the business’ credit profile. In short everything I spend on my artistry is a tax write off

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
1st We would start in Duluth for some Boba Mocha
2nd. Head to Main Event in Lawrenceville for some adult games and entertainment
3rd. We would probably freestyle after that lol. Atlanta is one of those places where you could just leave the house with no itinerary and find too much to do

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely, I would say my people at Onblast Radio (https://onblastradioatlanta.com/)
They do so much for truly independent artists & I feel like they are the ones that keep what we do alive
