We had the good fortune of connecting with Ciara Farmer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ciara, what do you want your legacy to be?
Undeniably, I want to be known for my kindness! We often talk about generational wealth as it relates to finances but I believe one of the greatest generational gifts you can leave behind is authenticity and kindness. What I’ve discovered is that when you are driven by passion and work your gift, money will come but when you’re kind, you gain things that money cannot buy; Connections, love, purpose, and feelings of being fulfilled!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I believe what sets me apart is my natural born energy. I would really love to describe myself as vibrant. Definitely more vibrant than most. I am absolutely always most proud and excited about the fact that I get to work my gift and meet so many amazing people. Sometimes I actually forget that it’s “work.”

I believe that all that I’ve accomplished professionally was really curated through my corporate America experience. When I began my photography career, I’d already had tons of experience in customer service and I really believe that helped me greatly with business logistics aside from my gift. It made things easier for me but it was not easy at all. To overcome challenges I’ve learned that you have to put your pride aside and invest in education and mentorship. I’ve learned essentially that in order to keep growing, you have to invest.

I want the world to know about me and my brand that dreams really do come true!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am pretty sure anyone who knows me already knows what I’m about to say, haha. If my best friend was visiting I would take them to a coffee shop with a nice aesthetic during the day then at night, we would undeniably dress up and get food and drinks at a nice rooftop!

I love exploring new places that have a nice young, modern, vibrant, and upbeat vibe!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
On this shoutout series, I’d love to shoutout my fiance Darius Brown. I’ve never met someone so loving and supportive. He ensures that with every task I have with my photography career that I’m taken care of while still balancing and managing his own career and family! His love is so much strength to me! Thank you Darius for all that you do! You are one of God’s blessings to my life and career!
