We had the good fortune of connecting with Chynna Miley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chynna, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is consistency and perseverance. When building and creating you have to keep going in spite of all obstacles. By showing tenacity and persistence no matter how hard things are you must keep going. Another factor to my success are my grandparents. They always inspire me to keep going and strive for excellence. They are the epitome of hardworking, loving parents. Being married for 50+ years, they have always indicated how things were when they were raised (in the 1940’s) compared to how things are now in the world. Not only does it make me grateful for the opportunities and resources that I am provided with, it makes me want to achieve more because I want to create generational wealth.

What should our readers know about your business?
The thing that sets me apart from others is my ability to help others create and build their brand. Not only do I plan events, I provide Event Planning 101 Classes, Branding and Marketing Classes and I even wrote an ebook called, “The Book of Branding”. I love to create and help others pursue their creative endeavors. I also created a series called Behind The Brand, which connects creatives to showcases lessons learned in business!

I overcame challenges by being persistent and learning as I go. I learned early on that this is business and not personal. It is good to build business relationships with people, and connect with others in your field. When you find great vendors hold on to them. I want the world to know I started planning events at The University of Oregon. I was involved in many student organizations and obtained a full basketball scholarship. So I was able to continue to plan seminars, retreats and workshops. After I graduated I wanted to continue to plan events. That is where my love for events began! The lessons I learned along the way are it is important to be Creative, Consistent and build Connections in the entrepreneurship world!
