We had the good fortune of connecting with Christopher Wells and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christopher, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to align my happiness with something I had a passion for.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a full time bartender and also a private bartender. I have been in the service industry for almost 14 years consistently & learned bartender when restaurants opened back up in Virginia in June 2020. I learned to bartend with a broken hand & since then have bartended ever since. I enjoy being a mixologist & the satisfaction when someone tries my delicious drinks.

I have always had a passion for fitness and dance. I grew up being a huge fan of Michael Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown, and Shaun T. Growing up dance, running track and playing basketball were my healthy escapes because my home was sort of non traditional.

In my 20’s I became certified in Group Personal Training with plans to have various workouts available online for purchase. I incorporated dance and exercise to form Grooves with Chris Dance Fitness!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
9am: Gym at Crunch, Marietta

12pm: Piedmont Park (Walk the Beltline)

3pm: Pizza at Fellini’s

6pm: Drinks at Spaceman during sunset

9pm: Southern Gentleman for dinner
