We had the good fortune of connecting with Christa Huffstickler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christa, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
My three daughters and being a person who they can be proud of and look up to.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Since 2002, I have specialized in residential real estate, from new construction to luxury home brokerage. Fine-tuning my blueprint for strategic sales executions has enabled us to become the go-to industry leader for home sales and marketing. When I joined the Engel & Völkers network as an Owner in 2017, I brought that expertise with me to help grow the Engel & Völkers footprint in Georgia. We are dedicated to serving our clients to the best of our abilities whether it’s major developers looking to market and sell their new project, to someone looking to quickly sell or buy their dream home. We are strategic and thoughtful marketers providing one-of-a-kind perspectives and skills to our clients to ensure they receive the greatest return on investment, making us Atlanta’s leading luxury residential general brokerage and developer services firm.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Atlanta’s Midtown neighborhood is one of my favorite places in the city, and as a former Midtown resident, I can attest to all of the cool and exciting things there to experience. Our week would be spent exploring the food, outdoor activities, and arts and culture that permeates the area. First up on the itinerary is a visit to the High Museum to explore the exhibits currently on display, followed by lunch at Colony Square, which is undergoing a massive renovation that has brought restaurants like 5Church Atlanta and Brown Bag Seafood Co. to the heart of the district. We’d also have to spend at least half a day in Piedmont Park. With nearly 200 acres and miles upon miles of green space, the park warrants more than just an hour’s time! From there, we would head to Atlantic Station to catch lunch at Gyu-kaku Japanese BBQ. If there’s one thing Atlanta has to offer, it’s incredible food from a diverse selection of cuisines! The Works on the Upper Westside is another stop. Less than ten minutes from Midtown, this mixed-use destination is one of Atlanta’s newest gems. Les Mains Nail Bar is a must-visit for a little pampering session, and unique shops like BOBO Intriguing Objects and Basik Spaces are my go-to’s for interior decor. The week would be rounded out with a beer from Dr. Scofflaw’s, the new distillery from Scofflaw Brewing Company, while catching the sunset from The Spur, a linear park at The Works. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My friends and family realized long before I did that I was destined to do bigger things than I could have imagined alone. They planted the seeds in my head that I could do anything and I could go anywhere. Without their support, encouragement and sometimes coercion I wouldn’t be where I am today.
