Meet Chris Siggers | Author & Executive Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Siggers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chris, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I love taking Risks! It’s necessary! In fact, it’s the reason I left my home state and moved here to Georgia. I had to take that risk even when I didn’t have the resources and money at the time. If I hadn’t done so, I would still be there, stuck, and continuing to wonder “What If”. My advice to any entrepreneur or upcoming entrepreneur would be to always “TAKE THE RISK”!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve always been a Creator, so with that being said, as an Author, creating stories is one of my first passions. I wrote my first novel and although there are many authors I know personally, my story hits a little different. Some may question why I chose a certain Race, but I chose to write from the Heart, it’s where I get my best writing. Im very proud of my first book. It’s an amazing feeling to see something fiction come to life in your mind. I wanted to give the readers a really good story, and I did just that. Although it’s a short book, it was not an easy journey at all. I stayed up many nights trying to come up with the perfect story. My goal was to never give up, Simply because if I did, there would be no Book, and I would be talking about writing one For the next 5 years. I overcame the challenges of being a writer by remembering why I started in the first place and removing all distractions. My lessons I’ve learned was being in a hurry. Sometimes we move fast or allow others to tell us we are moving slowly, and that’s not good. We must always move at our own pace. I want the world to know that I started from nothing and made the decision to step out of FAITH and pursue my Dreams. It’s not easy but you have to do it anyhow, and if I could do it, they can too!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite is “Frost Bistro” which is located downtown Atlanta and is owned by Reality Tv Star Rasheeda Frost from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Her food is amazing and drinks are a 10! I visit there quite often. I also love the Beltline, The Battery Atlanta and Piedmont Park. Great places to go when you’re looking for a great time. I also love the trails. I love taking friends to different ones and getting a good walkout in and also sightseeing, it’s beautiful.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes, My Mom. She has always supported me. She constantly tells me to work on my Dream and don’t talk about, just do it! She’s been on my team since the beginning. Sometimes when I’m stuck or down, she makes me realize that the thing I’m passionate about is going to get me to the top and that pulls me out of my bad mood. She definitely deserves the Credit!
