Meet Chiquita Mack: C.E.O/ Owner of Purple Rose Cosmetics

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chiquita Mack and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chiquita, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Purple Rose Cosmetics came about from my own facial insecurities. When I turned 27 for so reason my skin went haywire, and I was unable to get it under control. There was excessive hyperpigmentation, and reoccurring bumps in the same spot which cause even darker spots. No medical cream or medication was helping clear my face up. In 2017 I started researching natural ingredients for acne and hyperpigmentation, and noting down the benefits when used on the skin. I started testing different combination of ingredients until I can up with the right one. I figured if it worked on my skin it could work on others as well. In October 2020 I decided it was time to share it with the world.

What should our readers know about your business?
Purple Rose Cosmetics is truly an all natural skin care line that was developed by myself. I set down for three years testing, adding, taking away ingredients and documenting out comes. This line is always improving it’s products all while adding more products. We are a different type of skin care line, because we are not looking to gain customers for fast money. We are a line that is looking for clients that are truly getting the results that they are paying for. Consistency has gotten me a very long way. You must still post and promote your product whether you have 100 sales pending or zero sales pending. I have certain days of the week where I am doing a different task for my business. I work on my business daily no matter what, because this is my money so I have to make it come to me. Being a business owner is definitely not the most easiest job when you are first starting out. You will take losses, you will hear the word no, or you will want to give up. You can’t do any of the above. I have learned when your website is not getting enough traffic to other pages revamp it. Find you a promotion team of about 5 people in different states if possible. I have learned also do not expect friends and family to make purchases nor be happy for you, To me those are the most important things that I have learned. I want the world to know that Purple Rose Cosmetics is on the rise to being a great seller of all natural facial care products. Purple Rose products are made with love, compassion, and with the next facial insecurity in mind. We want to help you overcome your insecurities by helping you restore everything within.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have one important person and one important group that I would love to shoutout.. My first person is GOD. Without him none of this would be possible. Without him I wouldn’t have the power, or faith to keep pushing through every obstacle that has been placed in front of me. My group of people I would like to shoutout are my children and my husband Derrin. They are my daily motivation to never give up on my dreams. Being able to show my children that you can do anything you put your mind too, and be your own boss is amazing. They force me to be a greater parent and I love it. I want to give a extra shoutout to my husband, because he was man enough to step back and let me start my business. He has allowed me to give my business all of my undivided attention without him feeling neglected. He pushes me day in and day out to promote, and get my product out there. He believes in me, and builds me back whenever I break down. To see the smile on my husbands face, because I am making my dreams a reality is an amazing feeling. All of this hard work is for them, and that gives the most happiness and joy out of life. I love all of you dearly, and I wouldn’t trade you all for NOTHING IN THIS WORLD.
