We had the good fortune of connecting with Chey C and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chey, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
The time and your own personal money that goes into it . Most people think that the aesthetic is all that they’re paying for. But in all reality , there’s labor, hiring help, hours of research, etc. all to make the perfect event.

What should our readers know about your business?
ATL Big Kids is a mobile bartending business that I started six years ago in my mom‘s house, trapping cocktails in pouches and mason jars while working from home during the pandemic. What set me aside from other bartenders is my creativity. My eye for details and the overall importance of seeing my customers happy. I was able to get where I am today by keeping Faith, staying consistent and having a great attitude, no matter what. It has never been easy, but is anything that brings great success easy? The most important lesson I’ve learned along the way is slow and steady wins the race. I would like the world to know that I am looking forward to meeting my next potential client and this is just the beginning.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would start our day at jejus spa and then figure out which food hall we’d like to try after depending on the month. We try a popular experience in the city.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My best friend Sydney she’s been there for majority of me starting and working my business. She takes an extremely amount of time out of her personal time to help me bartend majority of my events. She gives me plenty words of encouragement when I’m at my lowest and I run pretty much every idea by her lol she’s been one of my biggest supporters!
