We had the good fortune of connecting with Cheri Cobb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cheri, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
So many people say balance does not exist, but I don’t believe that. Balance does exist, but you must be intentional about finding it. I create time for things that are a priority to me. That’s what I’ve done over the last few years. However, seeking balance is an ongoing journey. You don’t just find it and that’s it because our lives are always changing. By continually adjusting and prioritizing, you can achieve a work-life balance that suits your evolving needs.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets Cheri Cobb Creative apart is that we don’t offer cookie-cutter marketing services. We don’t make promises we can’t keep, and you’re not just a number to us. We work closely with our clients, and site visits are mandatory because that’s how I truly get to know each business and tell their stories online. True marketing is all about storytelling.

By learning about each business and its goals, we create unique marketing strategies tailored specifically to them, not based on other accounts. I want to highlight what makes each business unique.

It wasn’t easy to get here, but I believe you teach people how to treat you. Just like you cater your marketing to reach your IDEAL client, they shall come!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Does traveling count? We always find a chance to take a trip and leave the city!

However, if we must stay — we are definitely enjoying the downtown scenery! Rooftop bars, day drinking, networking…. that’s my style!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
None of this is possible without God. I’ve also been influenced by some great books, like “Atomic Habits” by James Clear and “Building A Story Brand” by Donald Miller. Having a support system is incredibly important, and I’m blessed with a wonderful family and team behind me, including my best friend and my mom, Cheryl Cobb.
