We had the good fortune of connecting with Chelsea Nzembe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chelsea, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
I envision myself as the CEO of a multibillion-dollar conglomerate with interests in a variety of industries. I picture myself quitting my work soon, motivating others, teaching others, and most importantly, being successful in this industry. My purpose isn’t to flaunt expensive jewellery or show off fancy cars and mansions. My goal is to achieve success and realise the dreams that I was so enthusiastic about.

What should our readers know about your business?
How did I get to where I am today is that I always believed in myself and knowing that this will only go up from where I’m at. I never doubted myself, I never gave up, I pushed myself, and I never envied someone else. Of course things can be challenging when you don’t get any sales, difficulties on creating contents, plans not going your way, etc. But you need to let things grow organically, so that your consumers can see the authentic of your work. The lessons I’ve learned in this business steel is always having a strategy, plan, target audience. Without that youll lack into finding your target market, excel in your business and won’t make any sales. I want the world to know that silky hair collection is all about boosting up your confidence when it comes to your hair, looks and feeling like you’re THAT girl.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d want to give a shout out to @gorjessdollz. She is a Miami hairstylist who chose to take a chance and work with a small business and form a partnerships. That risk, however, provides us with visibility by partnering with a certified influencer and even being featured on theshaderoomteens. I was overjoyed when I saw it, and I knew things would only get better from there. I’d like to express my gratitude to her since without her, none of this would have happened. Because she made this possible and believed in silkyhaircollection, I will always mention/credit her.
