Meet Chelsea Jenkins | Entrepreneur & Creative

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chelsea Jenkins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chelsea, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?

BodiedbyBreon LLC was created with a vision to give individuals reasons to fall in love with themselves. Starting with a new wardrobe, fragrances, hair and more.

Our brand is redefining the meaning of self care, self esteem and self awareness. As we strive to complete this vision, our focus is to remind each customer how great it feels to be yourself.

You feel better when you look and smell amazing! You become a happier version of YOU!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

BodiedbyBreon LLC expanded three times in one year. We launched our Exclusive Fragrance Oils, Women’s Boutique and our very own Curl Definition Gel called B3 Waves.

Our oil product line, which is most popular was created by doing collaborations with local small businesses in our communities.

These businesses had the opportunity to visit our lab and create a custom scent and name it after their brand. This was a great opportunity for locals to share our platform. All of these collaborations are successful and still thriving. Helping other local businesses grow is one way BodiedByBreon LLC is different.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

If my best friend came to visit, we would first go to brunch, then go shopping. After shopping we would go get pedicures and take a nap. Later, we would get dressed and hit the town for the night. Wherever the wind blows is where we will end up.

My favorite places in ATL are:
Pappadeaux
Mary Mac’s Tea Room
Escobar
The Breakfast Club
Lenox Mall
Revel
Brunch Lit

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Mother Rosalind Jenkins and my oldest sister Ciara Andrews are the Shero’s in my success story.

My Mom has supported each business endeavor and dream I’ve had. She opened her home and allowed me to regroup as I launched by business. I created my first fragrance oils on her kitchen table with assistance from her and my sister. My clothing inventory was stacked in boxes for months at her front door. I’m so thankful for the support and love from such a special person in my life.

My sister Ciara, was my first hair client, my product tester, my marketing team and my current assistant. With every wild idea she never told me no. She’s a key part of my business expanding to other states. My first vendor opportunity was during Covid-19 and she was there. Her willingness to always help and knowing she believes in me means the world to me.
