Hi Chelsea, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The reason for me starting my own business is honestly because I love what I do! I want to have something to look back on in life and know I achieved everything I wanted and put smiles on the people’s face who’ve sat in my chair. My daughter is also one of my biggest inspirations, knowing that she is proud of me keeps me going harder.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am Chelsea a Master Cosmetologist, specializing in natural hair! I absolutely love and have a passion for hair , Styled By ChelseaJ is me!!! I love for my clients to know they are in great hands with me, I want to ensure proper growth and hair care! My journey most definitely hasn’t been easy but it’s what I love and enjoy! Dedication and commitment is what I have instilled in me through this process, never giving up on what you love! Being a stylist has is ups and downs just like everything else in this world but I love all my clients and appreciate them for sticking with me through my journey! The world needs to know Styled By ChelseaJ, not only do you get exceptional hair care but a listening ear and a welcoming space!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The main people I would love to recognize is my mom, daughter and brother! Without them I would have been lost my head, the support they give is incredible, and I thank them for that! Also my cosmetology educator Ms.Urgent since the day I started cosmetology school she has been the most supportive, understanding, and awesome person I could ask for!
