We had the good fortune of connecting with Chauntee Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chauntee, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I knew I wanted something more out of life. Internally, I became tired of working for corporate America. Then, the pandemic hit and I could no longer ignore my feeling of being tired of working for someone else. Tired of clocking in and out , tired of being emotionally and mentally drained. Tired of my employer not truly caring about my circumstance our needs. However, the straw that broke the camels back was when I noticed how I wasn’t fully present when it came to my husband and children because I’m so overworked . That moment is when I knew that my overall happiness would not come from me being shackled to a computer and phone for eight hours of my life. An a change was very much necessary.

With my new realization, thats when my thought process began to change. I knew if I was going to make this drastic change with leaving my job. I still needed some sort of income, right? I mean, I DO have children. So I’m thinking of things, all sorts of things. Then I asked myself, ” What would you enjoying doing everyday while bringing in revenue? I sat on that question for a while, seriously. Then it came to me, literally it’s almost like it just dropped out of the sky. I heard ” start a jewelry business.” Immediately, a feeling of excitement shot through my body. I thought about how I feel when I purchase or shop for jewelry. An the different look the comes from accessorizing. It doesn’t matter if it real or fake, you can wear a plain t-shirt and a pair of jeans and go from plain Jane to high fashion with properly accessorizing. An I love that feel and I wanted to be apart of providing that very same feeling to others.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Effortless Beauty LLC is hear to celebrate YOU! Women, Men, Non-binary etc. Pretty, flirty, girly. Beautiful yet bold. We aspire our collection to attract all of those beautiful feeling to their person.Wearing jewelry overall celebrates which ever part of the body you choose. We’re proud that our original intention of wanted to provide a service that people can feel excited , beautiful, bold , fun , sexy etc about to life is coming true.

Whats sets Effortless Beauty LLC apart from the other online jewelry stores, is that we firmly believe and want nothing but satisfaction when it comes to our customers by any means. We strive to provide unique products that allows our customers to stand out in a crowd when they wear one of our pieces. Effortless Beauty LLC is affordable for consumers. We aren’t selling “fine” jewelry YET but we pride ourselves that are new collections are stainless steel, hypoallergenic, water resistant, and tarnish FREE. Which means our customers can be comfortable when wearing our collections without worrying about jewelry irritating skin or tarnishing while jewelry is being used. Essentially, having the customer be happy with their purchase. That way Effortless Beauty will come to mind first when their ready to make another purchase.

We got where we are today through a lot of trial and error, believe me. It wasn’t easy. Finding the proper vendors to supply us. Creating that eye catching , clean aesthetic to attract customers to our website. Marketing our brand effectively , not just posting just to be posting. Actually having a strategy behind our marketing.These three where a challenge in the beginning. Yet, I must say that we’re glad that we went through those challenges early. If we hadn’t been faced with different challenges we wouldn’t know the “right” or “proper” things to do moving forward.

I want the world to know that they need to get use to hearing and seeing the name Effortless Beauty LLC. We were created out of love for being fresh to death lol . Just kidding, we were created out of love but to give/show love through the expression of fashion.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ooouuuu… first things first my friends and I love to eat lol. So first stop would be “The Garden Room” love their whimsical theme/vibe plus the food and drinks are great!

I’d also take them to “The Playa Pig”, I’ve never been but i want to go and experience their restaurant. I see their post on instagram all the time and we have to go and catch that vibe. We’ll also go to TenATL. It’s a real chill, laid back kind of vibe and on Friday nights they have live bands performing which is pretty dope.Plus the food isn’t bad and the drinks are STRONG lol.

Being that my friends and I are mothers we’ll more then likely take our kids to “Round 1.” I enjoy Round 1 because they cater to the kids and adults needs. It’s an arcade, they have a bowling alley, food, bar, and the kids can be in their facility until closing which is 2am.

Of course, we have to go to the mall. Lenox Mall or Phipps Plaza would be our choices. U can’t come to Atlanta and not go to Lenox or Phipps…come on now .

An we’ll have to go to “The Underground” I enjoyed going down there just because . It’s a chill area if you’re not trying to do too much.

Last but not least, hiking. We have to go to Sweetwater Creek State Park. My girls and I are a little adventurous. It’s so peaceful and good place to clear your mind and reconnect with yourself.

I would like to Shoutout my loving and supportive husband Donnell for believing in me and my brand. For encouraging to move forward. My sibling Darrius for keeping the fire lit under my tail. An friends and love ones for just loving me. I love and appreciate you all.
