We had the good fortune of connecting with Chasmine Iyonna and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chasmine, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
It would have to becoming discipline, consistency, and plugging into both spiritual and personal development. Building your foundation is key to a successful business .

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Having multiple business can be challenging yet very rewarding. What keeps me set apart is creating balance and making them all work for one ultimate purpose. For example, Chasmine Iyonna Enterprise is my consulting/marketing and mentor/coaching business. I created a curriculum based off my Non Profit Organization “Finding Beauty Within” purpose and mission. I am able to become a vendor with different school systems to help young ladies from elementary to high school discover their purpose, create growth mindsets, and even mentor/coach them into creating their business. With me being a Global Mall owner I am able to create incentives for my students and do successful fundraising. Chasmine Iyonna Ministries is where I do all my ministry work which also ties into all my other businesses.Balancing multiple businesses has never been easy but God has always downloaded strategies for me to continue to be successful in all aspects of my life. My advice to anyone is choose something you love doing even if money was not a factor then find ways to make revenue from your gift. My story is simply I followed my passion of doing makeup and doors continued to open after that. My work has been featured on BET Awards, The Word Network, Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta and so much more. Not only that I was able to incorporate my gift of makeup into each one of my businesses.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the food here in Atlanta. It has to be the best vibes ever here.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
A Major part of my success goes to my spiritual parents Apostle Anthony McCoy and Prophetess Tracy McCoy for pushing me to be the leader that I am today. Also my Mentor/Coach Ilka Murray for helping me shifting in my mindset, skill set, performance, and faith. . Last but not least my personal development mentor Ms Aishah Akbar for helping me create personal development goals and achieving them.

Volunteering for an Non Profit Organization called “Fabulous on Purpose” allowed me the opportunity to find my ultimate purpose.
