We had the good fortune of connecting with Chase N. Cashe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chase N., how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m from New Orleans and it made me who I am. It is a very small city with a diverse cultural background that enabled me to learn about a wide range of things at a very young age. We are a very musical and artistic city without the proper infrastructure to monetize it a high level so it helps you create from a passion purpose first. With that type of upbringing I always put my passion first before money. The goal is to make money but importantly make history that can be passed down as tradition to the next generation. That’s my biggest goal with my companies.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I wear a few hats stemming from management, production, and development. What separates me from others is my thinking process and approach to doing creative business. I got to where I am today by thinking outside of the box while also keeping it simple enough to execute consistently. It wasn’t easy but it also wasn’t as hard as most people would like to hear. Overcoming expectations I set for myself was a challenge but learning to let life flow in the way God sees fit for me has been my greatest learning curve. I would like the world to know that remaining solid is very important. It’s the base of what will make all the things that seem impossible happen in real time. Can’t Buy Respect is based on solidarity and integrity and being able to treat yourself and others the way it’s supposed to be without the money being a factor.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Morrow’s to eat. StudioBe to visit. TreeHouse to hang out. MadeInTheHood to shop.

Larry Morrow is great at hospitality and making sure people enjoy the city. BMike is amazing artist with the best gallery in the south. MadeInTheHood is an amazing lifestyle / street wear store that brings the spirit of New Orleans into fashion.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My entire family , the Surf Club, and the Can’t Buy Respect mafia.
