We had the good fortune of connecting with Chase Buckley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chase, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my social media brand and platform is authenticity.
In an era where social media is flooded with curated, polished, and often inauthentic content, audiences crave something real and relatable. Authenticity, in this context, means being true to yourself, your values, and your audience. It involves sharing not just the highlight reel of your life or career but also the ups and downs, the struggles, and the learning experiences. This kind of vulnerability is what resonates with people. It makes you appear more human, approachable, and trustworthy.
When you prioritize authenticity, you’re not just pushing out content for the sake of engagement or follower growth. You’re creating a genuine connection with your audience. You’re allowing them to see who you really are, rather than a manufactured version of yourself. This transparency builds trust, and trust is the foundation of long-term relationships—both with your audience and within your community. The role of authenticity in content creation is particularly significant because it allows you to stand out from the noise. When your content reflects your true personality, interests, passions, and even flaws, it creates a sense of relatability.
Ultimately, the emphasis on authenticity is about building meaningful connections, not just chasing numbers. It’s about nurturing relationships with people who care about you for who you are and what you stand for, and I find that to be most important.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve always had a love for social media and this dates back to college. While in school, I held 3 on campus social media marketing jobs with Victoria’s Secret, Kendra Scott, and Bumble, while also creating content for my own personal channels simultaneously. Shortly after graduation, I started to explore posting on TikTok and how that could help me grow my Instagram as well as my brand image. I am not going to lie – it’s not easy at first and the views don’t always come right away. But the more consistent I got on TikTok, the larger my platform grew, and before I knew it my videos were blowing up! I am most well known in Atlanta for my “Spend a weekend with me living in Atlanta” video series, because this is where it all started.
My TikTok really started to take flight in February of 2023 and it’s been such an adventure and blessing since. I am a content creator based in Atlanta, that specializes fashion, lifestyle, and travel related content. I love to post about my experiences as a 25 year old living in the city, my corporate job, sharing my outfits for any and all occasions, taking my audience along on all my travel adventures, and everything in between! I feel lucky to be able to post whatever I feel passionate about, and that my community always has my back. It’s hard to even put into words how much gratitude I have for what I’ve experienced the past 2 years, and it’s all because of some videos I started posting!
Some of my proudest moments that stemmed from my social media efforts include: Attending the 75th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on behalf of Drybar, being the face of IHG’s National 2024 Winter Campaign, traveling on numerous trips with Kimpton, Intercontinental, and Hilton properties, getting to collaborate with and experience so many incredible Atlanta restaurants (even Michelin-starred ones), attend influencer events in my city for national brands like Hermes, Sunday Riley, Philosophy, Tumi, Victoria’s Secret, CeraVe, Sezane, Apple, and more, competing on a FOX Gameshow (Pictionary) and winning a trip to Europe, working on campaigns and content creation with brands like Levi’s, Sweetgreen, House of CB, YSL Beauty, Resy, Armani Beauty, Olaplex, Summer Fridays, Caraway, Bala – to only name a few…, attend movie screenings with Prime Video, MGM, and Disney, and getting to work with SO MANY amazing Atlanta business, professionals, and organizations.
It’s been very rewarding to put in hard work and see so many amazing results, and create so many wonderful relationships with people, brands, and my community. I’m excited to see what’s next.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh gosh – where do I even begin! This is definitely my forte, I’ve tried SO many spots in Atlanta and I have too many favorites. I’ll do what I do best and give you this in weekend format! If I were touring my bestie who had never been to Atlanta before, this is how I’d do it! I love a good itinerary 🙂

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to take this moment to give a heartfelt shoutout to the people who have been my rock through this entire journey: my family, friends, and boyfriend. Their unwavering love, encouragement, and belief in me have been essential to the success I’ve achieved since starting and growing my platform. I genuinely believe that without their constant support, none of this would have been possible. I am beyond grateful for this support and I truly believe they deserve so much credit and recognition for helping me get to where I am today.
I also want to give a huge shoutout to my amazing online community and the incredible people I connect with in real life here in Atlanta. Their support, encouragement, and genuine interest in the work I’m creating have been invaluable to me. Without their belief in my vision and their willingness to show up for me in so many ways, I truly wouldn’t be where I am today. Every message, every share, and every conversation has helped me grow, stay motivated, and push forward.
