Meet Charvin Clark | Actor & Comedian

We had the good fortune of connecting with Charvin Clark and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Charvin, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m from a small town called Fayette, MS. . I grew up in Martin Luther King projects. At that time, all I had where my dreams and nothing else. While playing with friends at a young age I knew that I wanted more than what I was looking at. I wanted to be somebody. I loved watching TV, especially my favorite show, Sanford and Sons. It was at a young age that I realize that I wanted to be on TV making people laugh. Just love Red Foxx.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love to create stories via Skits. I play all my characters. In which sets me apart from a lot of people. Im super excited to showcase to the world my different ranges of acting. I was not easy getting where I’m at today. Tv was my teacher, and i studied for a long time lol. Along my journey I learned to appreciate self love and imagination. I want the world to know that I’m a hidden gem desperately waiting to shine. My ultimate goal is to have my own skit comedy show on Netflix.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First, I would take them to my brother’s restaurant, Rosa’s Chicken and Waffle, located in Lithonia,Ga. Then we’ll head to downtown Atlanta to some of my favorite bars and stores. A fun evening for me consists of me being anywhere where I can be around friends.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother is who I like to dedicate this to. She gave me the space to use my imagination at a young age. I translated that into her believing in me. That was very important to me.
