We had the good fortune of connecting with Charles wallace and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Charles, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
the ability to live, be self sufficient from your own creations is just the dream.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is mixed, from painting, designs, music, visual art such as photography. My first dive into the arts were drawing, simple sketches that grew into much more. Simple poems that grew into full on records that people can hear across the world and enjoy. I always worked behind the scenes with the photography but was always complimented on my look on things visually. Wasn’t easy, but with time & repetition of the craft it gets easier, becoming almost second nature. Overcame challenges by trying things, failing, learning & trying again. Repetition is the father of learning. Learned that less is often more with anything. The only thing I want the world to know about me & brand is to, push the envelope, keep creating & don’t doubt your view when it comes to creating something from nothing.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A good go to spot in atlanta would be lil 5 points. chill, hippie vibes, definitely great thrifts, foods. I don’t drink but neither do my friends. Also places like the beltline, graffiti trails, riding scooters, in the summer, great views. of course go to some art shows or the high museums, have to be something involving art.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Id like to dedicate the shoutout series to the creatives, those who inspire to inspire. Dedicated to any and every supporter of the arts. The open minded & authentic creatives. Need more original works.
