Meet Chaqueta Veale | Licensed Esthetician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chaqueta Veale and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chaqueta, why did you pursue a creative career?
I am the Owner and Operator of Queta Veale Esthetics. I have been educating and perfecting my craft in the art and beauty of Esthetics since 2017. I enrolled in the Esthetics Program because I wanted to have a career in beautifying women with providing makeup services. It became a passion of mine when I started having skin issues of my own trying to hide my imperfections with makeup. Since taking the course, I discovered Esthetics is all about the healthiness and wellness of the skin, and I began to love everything that it had to offer. Not only was doing makeup a passion of mine, I also became very interested in waxing. Over the course of time, I began to learn, study, and perfect the key essentials that was needed to be knowledgeable about waxing and skincare, along with women’s health. I very proud to say that I specialize in quite a few areas in the Esthetics field. I specialize in makeup enhancements, full body waxing, facials with at-home skin care regimens, chemical peels, body skin care, brow waxing and tinting, and vaginal steams. Making people feel good about themselves and putting a smile on their faces would make my whole day. Offering services to accommodate for people’s self-care need is topt tier for me.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am proud to say that I’ve owned my own business for 5 years this coming April. It has been a tough road with the many challenges I had to face, but thankfully I survived. I’ve had highs and lows with the clientele being up and down, but that comes with the business in this industry. In the beginning, I kicked out more money than I did making money. But, within these 5 years I had to learn how to balance my money and how to profit better. And once being on tops of finances and managing my money better, put me in a place to where I can stay afloat in this business. I want the world to know that I’m a very passionate person who takes pride in my craft and being of great service to people.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well to be honest to don’t get out much because I’m always working. Then when I’m off, I try to put that time in with my husband and kids. But, if I were to step out for a weekend or day/ night; I would check out a few places in Raleigh, NC. Drive Shack would be a great place to check out. Food, drinks, golfing, the atmosphere overall makes it a great place to visit.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate this shoutout to first and foremost, God. My husband, kids, and family who’s always there for me and supporting me. My clientele for always showing their support as well. The Owner of Five Touch Spa and Salon, Tawanda Auston, who have shown me from day one how to be successful all around in life. This woman have instilled a lot in me when I worked at her spa, So, a big shoutout to Tawanda.
