We had the good fortune of connecting with Chantelle Douglas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chantelle, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
“Everything is always working out for me.” -Abraham Hicks

This quote serves as a constant reminder that impatience, being upset when things don’t work out, or comparison is NEVER warranted. For everything is always working out for our highest good. It pushes me to mind my thoughts, words, and actions. Your businesses success (or mine) is not precedented by any other factor but divine timing and our willingness to do the work.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
If you type digital marketing in any social media search engine you will see A LOT of profiles. This wasn’t the case when I started my business in 2016. I stand out because I have tenured experience that allows me to easily spot out strategies and methods that will fail for my clients. All clients who have worked with me for 90-Days consistently see growth in social media presence and clientele. My journey has been full of highs and lows, but right now I am grateful for steady pace. I attribute this steady pace to my creative side, growth mindset, and tenacity.
A huge lesson that I have learned and will share always is the importance of creating a firm foundation for your business. Many business owners find themselves in a tight spot when it comes to delegating tasks. If you want to be in business for the long term, plan accordingly. Business formation, business credit, bookkeeping, branding, marketing and coaching should be at the forefront of your mind when you start not when you start to struggle.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Self-care is always a good time for this 2x boy mom. Let’s get adjusted by Dr. Diamond and then enjoy a massage by the best in the city, Body Therapy by Robin. Crawfish and daiquiris are a must in spring. Park visits with my boys and picnics will help us stay connected to our inner child. Other than that, home is my refuge and restaurant. Let’s have a ball bestie!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Taking a trip back down memory lane. In June 2015, I was experiencing the most traumatic time of my life. I had been on the hunt for a job for a while and a former college classmate shared a nonprofit opportunity with me. After interviewing I was offered the position of administrative assistant. I took the job and weeks later I was asked to manage the organizations social media and email marketing. As a person who loves to create, I was extremely excited about this opportunity. Creating content, graphics, captions, corresponding with clients and donors was therapy for me. I will forever be grateful to Ms. Lorri. She is the reason I am here. May she continue to rest in God’s arms!
