We had the good fortune of connecting with Cham and Joshua and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cham and Joshua, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Well we have always been business people. Josh my fiance and business partner started his first of many business in elementary school selling candy. I accidentally started a foot massage business when I was 5. My mom and sister would ask me to massage their feet and I thought saying they had to pay me would make them stop. They even started asking me to paint their toes too. I was so glad when they stopped cause I started charging more. When me and Josh got together I had found not just my first but second love, marketing. We started with being photographers taking pictures during events but we didn’t know how to structure that business or even charge a good price so we didn’t take it seriously for years. We started other businesses took a few classes and truly learned what marketing and business structure was. That’s when we met @Brandonshotme @Marquelrussell @Trishonna @Anthonycarterii and so many other amazing black business owners and things started really happening. We decided to expand from photography to videography, marketing services, and coaching.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets us apart is our passion for digital marketing and our love for helping others. We are a two-coach team who are both experts in digital marketing who support our client’s mental growth as well as the growth of their business.

We know so much because we’ve failed so much. We are not afraid of failing so we try so many different things. We teach from our experiences.

We are most proud of how we are able to serve each client at a high level giving them all the attention they need to grow their businesses without missing any important details. We are also proud of all of our clients for working hard and getting on average 3x ROI by using the information we gave them.

Getting to this point wasn’t easy… We learned firsthand that failing is the way to success because that’s what has worked for us. Ok, that was an L what did we learn? What do we need to do differently? When you only have successes you don’t learn or necessarily know what got you that success.

What we want the world to know is that we care. That’s why failing doesn’t bother us as much. We aren’t afraid to move because we aren’t afraid to fail. We have a group of people that we are helping push to the forefront. Their stories need to be heard, their faces need to be seen, and they deserve to have representation. That’s why we aren’t afraid the mission is bigger than fear. When little black girls see themselves and say hey that person looks like me. I can do that too. That’s our goal.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would first take my friends to Atlantic Station so we could shop with local businesses at the popup shops. Then I would take them to Naanstop or the burger spot in Atlantics station for some good eats and then finally the candy shop because I have a sweet tooth.

The next day I would take them to Ponce City Market to Ton Ton for some delicious ramen and shop with the awesome local brands. Then would take the electric scooters to Piedmont park to have a sip and paint style relaxed evening to talk and catch up more.

On the last day, we would go to a Starbucks near my house then come back to my place to talk more and play some video games, watch anime and probably eat some wings.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
CAU stand up! No matter where we go we will always be part of CAU. Being in this family gives us so much inspiration even on the hard days. Also thank you @Blackgirlpr for telling us to go share our story!
