We had the good fortune of connecting with Ceydria Mccray and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ceydria, what is the most important factor behind your success?

The most important factor behind Breezzys lemonade is family. Here at the Breezzys enterprise we go so hard with sticking together, being creative together so we will forever win together. The success of the brand comes from the determination to win despite a lemon thrown our way. We value to dare to be different, dream bigger then our ages and everybody gon be drinking Breezzys.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

Breezzys lemonade is a bottled lemonade company which was created by my son Aubrie Greene (CEO) who was 10 years old at the time. Breezzy’s was created in our home kitchen with just a bag of lemons, a lemon squeezer, sugar, water and a pitcher and actually a theraputic family session for us. We had no idea Breezzys lemonade would be our first love, our everyday and our family passion.

We have currently been operating our business for a total of four successful years. Breezzys lemonade company is made of Noel who’s the-Executive Vice President/ CMO. Jaheim-Senior Vice President/ CINO. And Ceydria Chief Operating Officer/CFO

2023 our business made its first six figures and I’m proud to say we are officially trademarked (We Own Breezzy’s Baby). The one challenge we overcame was accepting that we had outgrown our kitchen and it was time to operate on a bigger scale. The one lesson we have learned thus far is not every establishment going to believe in your vision. But when they see you across the street they’ll want to join the team.
We want the world to know that despite any life challenges you can truly turn lemons into revenue.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

If I had a friend come into town I would take them to grab a bit at Philly Vegan for the best vegan food in the city who features a selected few Breezzy’s. And if they’re looking to have a great steak with some amazing vibes I would say we’re going to the Mainstreet Steakhouse and request a Breezzy’s lemon drop. I would then take them to the One Way Market located in the historical Jackson Ward to grab some of the hottest international snacks along with having the choice of any flavor Breezzys lemonade. We would visit the Science Museum of Virginia along with MySelfies Museum to take cute pictures as keepsakes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

We want to shoutout our city (Richmond) for supporting Breezzys lemonade like no other. The Metropolitan Business League for supporting us with funding opportunities and opening our platform to thousands of people. RVA community events for giving us our very first home and ability to get involved more with the community. Our auntie Erica who has always been a helping hand at any Breezzy’s event. Our breezzy’s ladies Danesha, Keshaun, Jasmine, Niasia, Deja, and Keyonna who promotes our brand and make sure every ear knows about us. And every single person who’s been rocking with us from day one…
