We had the good fortune of connecting with Cecile Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cecile, what principle do you value most?
The value/principle that matters to me the most is morality and humanity. Morals are important to my mother growing up. She taught me how to be respectful to myself, others and how to interact with people on a neutral level. My mother taught me that you never who you may need in life, so treat people the way you want to be treated. She also taught me there is a time and a place for everything, somethings don’t require a response. She taught me the value of hard work, and now, I am making choices in life that I can live with because I am my own competition. I have to ability to understand how morals effect humanity and if we all practiced the morals that have been taught since kindergarten, will be instill in the lives of others. Due to my upbringing, I strive to act morally because you never know what a person is going through so it’s important to treat everyone like a human being, we all have the same needs and are in the same boat in life. People just have a different outlook on things and that is OK!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What makes me different from others is I am pure comical by just genuinely being me, lol. I crack people up all time time and they lert me know that I am a whole good vibe. I’ve been told I am just funny, especially when I am talk to others like seniors. Iam proud of my ability to use my inner charm and humor to take amazing modeling photos, each picture tells a story and am craving to unleash other talents I have inside. Iam proud of my abiility to be versatile, proactive and a true bad ass as some people may say. I’m a great person to learn from because I am a true trend setter; Be Yourself! Know Who YOU are.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
At this point in my life, getting out of America to go on a cruise or visiting another country to get out the country, is another dream come true. After my first international trip to Belize, I realized the best vacations are not in America. Culture is important and I want to learn different ways of living, that’s how a person lives and learns. You have to get out of your normal element and that’s what life is all about.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First, I want to give a shout out to God for everything he’s done for me. I want to give a shout out to my mother in heaven; mom you did a great job raising me. Most importantly, I want to give a shout out to my great-great- uncle because he plays a huge role in my life. At 96 years old, my uncle inspires me and inspired me as a child to make me think about my future. He is a veteran and the patriarch in the family. I thank God for him.
