Meet Cassandra Hollis: Actress

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cassandra Hollis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cassandra, how do you think about risk?
I think risk can be a gift. Stepping into the unknown is an act of Faith and perseverance.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What keeps me busy professionally is my “day” job and my work as an Actress. I love being on set as well as the rehearsal phase of a project. Auditioning is a huge part of the process and that keeps me busy too. It is a great time to be a working actor in Atlanta.
I just booked a role in a film and looking forward to being on set for that. Some other recent credits include a recurring reenactment role as Asst. District Attorney on the Investigation Discovery (ID) Channels’ true crime series “Atlanta Justice” in 2021. Also recent roles in a short film, commercials, web series, and stage plays. And, during season one of TV One’s true crime series, “ATL Homicide”, I was recurring as Medical Examiner.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Yes, Atlanta is so dope and so much to explore and do here. I would probably suggest some traditional spots to begin with:
Take in some Atlanta History – visit Auburn Avenue The Apex Museum; The King Center; Ebenezer Baptist Church (the original church is available for tours ; Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s birth home; and a walking tour up of Auburn and Edgewood. Avenues; Some Amazing restaurants on Auburn and Edgewood. Also, a visit to the Atlanta History Center as well the Swan House is great if you really want to spend some time learning about Atlanta origins.
Check out Centennial Olympic Park complex and visit the Park for the Olympic Legacy; The National Center for Civil and Human Rights; The Coca Cola Museum, World of Coca Cola; The College Football Hall of Fame and then ride the SkyView Atlanta Ferris Wheel; Again some great restaurants all over this area and inside of CNN.
Also, the Aquarium is amazing.
Broadway shows and other productions at the Fox Theatre are probably coming back soon. Also, depending on the time of year check out a Falcons game or Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta United. Atlanta fans are hyped!
There is so much more. Atlanta is a foodie paradise so, explore and enjoy.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
