We had the good fortune of connecting with Cashmere Carter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cashmere, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risks is akin to trusting your intuition and placing faith in something greater, whether it’s seen as trusting in oneself or in a higher power. When you embark on risks, you’re not just testing your boundaries but also your belief in the world’s potential. Your confidence in your knowledge and capabilities determines the risks you’re willing to take. Personally, my confidence has empowered me to take significant risks in life, leading to personal growth and success. Each risk I’ve taken has expanded my horizons, from making money and meeting remarkable individuals to experiencing breathtaking places. This journey has consistently shown me that by daring to step into the unknown, I’ve found myself in situations that are bigger and better than I could have imagined.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Hygh Vybratyonz is a brand, a lifestyle, that supports one living consciously & authentically. You cannot put me in a box, as no human shouldn’t be. We are multifaceted beings, we are all wired differently but we are overall the same. My art is about showcasing the human experience, making heaven here on Earth. A woman recently told me I am embodiment of Josephine Baker, but I’ve also been told I am a reincarnation of Cleopatra by many, and I happen to agree with both. I have been blessed to learn what true freedom is, and I have been called to spread that awareness. My biggest challenge along my journey so far is dealing with egos, even my own.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I moved back Georgia the beginning of this year, 2024, so honestly I am getting to know Atlanta all over again. I am always finding new or different things to do and places to go.
I know if my bestie was visiting me, our week would consisist of: spa time, dining at pretty restaurants, doing activities (paintball, gun range, golfing, hiking, or horseriding), and going out at night to dance or attend a concert.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am immensely grateful to God, to the random strangers who have supported and healed me along my journey, my loving family, the soulful spirit of Mississippi, the transformative power of music, the insightful authors who have shared their wisdom, my dedicated educators, and all of you who have embraced me for simply being myself. Your collective support and encouragement have been instrumental in my success, especially in navigating the risks I’ve taken. Thank you all for being a part of my journey.
