We had the good fortune of connecting with Casey Bradley and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Casey, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My father was an entrepreneur and I always admired his willingness to bet on himself. My father is my role model, so I always felt called to take a shot at doing something similar to him in the future. Growing up in the household of an entrepreneur provided me with a glimpse of what it takes to run a company, through good times and bad. The “why” behind what we do is all about helping founders of companies reach their personal and financial goals.
What should our readers know about your business?
We work with founders of companies helping them understand how to retain their key employees, exit their companies, protect against unforeseen blind spots, and achieve their personal financial goals. Founders of companies are what this country was built on, and it’s our mission to serve them. What makes us proud is helping an entrepreneur hit their personal and business goals. Seeing someone hit their revenue goals, purchasing a new property, expanding to different locations, etc is very rewarding for our team.
The journey to get where we’re at today was not an easy one, and many lessons were learned along the way. It allowed us to narrow in on the clients we now serve and dedicate the time and resources specifically to other business owners. The most important lesson I learned along the way was the importance of mental toughness in running a business. Projects fall through, the economy changes, clients postpone, etc… The only thing I can control is how I react when adversity presents itself and what my next step will be moving forward. A favorite coach of mine, Coach Andy Frye at Centre College, embodied this with his motto he communicated to our team: “The most important play is the next play.”
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We love spending time in the downtown Marietta and downtown Alpharetta area. Places that we frequently visit are Glover Park Brewing, Marietta Pizza Company, SmokeJack BBQ, and Ceviche. These are great places to spend outside on a Summer day with friends and family.
Also, for any dog lovers, we love spending time at Fetch Park in Alpharetta. This is a great place to bring your dog, watch college football games, and relax around a bunch of happy dogs. It’s awesome!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My wife, Kate. There is ZERO chance I would be where I am without Kate’s unwavering support and encouragement along the way. Prior to our marriage, Kate lent me money, helped me with administrative work, and provided the encouragement I needed when times were tough. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for our family, Kate!
