We had the good fortune of connecting with Carter Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carter, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’ve always liked to draw since I was a kid, always been interested in art. During High school I started to paint on canvases. My junior-senior year, Due to Covid-19, school closed, everything started to close & people began getting quarantined. While at home, during this time, scrolling on Tik-tok, I saw videos of people making rugs. I thought they were cool & I liked the idea of making them because it gave me something to do productive in my spare time at home.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I make what I like. All the paintings & rugs are things I’m interested in & into. A lot of late nights goes into my work but that’s how I got here today. People notice the dedication & detail. The one thing I would want the world to know about my story is if I can do it you can too!
