We had the good fortune of connecting with Carsten Bell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carsten, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve had many jobs from fast food, enlisting in the United States Air Force, to being a Police Officer, Teaching new hire hires how to manufacture blood products while at the American Red Cross and even pest control. All the jobs I’ve ever had I performed them well. I had a cousin (RJ) tell me once if you don’t build your dream you will help someone else build theirs. That stick with me. Even though I’m just a year into owning my own Pressure washing Buisness the possibilities are endless.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Again, have held many jobs over the years. Currently driving 18 wheelers for UPS. Been a manager at almost every job I’ve had since high school. I honestly don’t like the roll but apparently I’m good at it. What sets me apart is my pressure washing business caters to everyone! I don’t focus only on high end clients. I’m for everyone. Some in the industry try to only service million dollar homes. Which is great. But guess what the average family wants their home to look “Topnpch” too. That’s what I’m here to do. But it come a time when you have to take a leap of faith! I’ve contributed to many other business owners as far as making them money. It is now time for me to creat a legacy that my family will benefit from for years to come.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would fire up the grill and the smoker!! I’m not Much for going out. I enjoy time at home with my family. I mean working 70 hours a week and owning a Buisness takes a toll. Any and all spare time with friends or family is always at the house. More personable.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My beautiful queen Veronica Bell. She had supported me in ways that would take to long to explain. My mother Nicole Sumner, and my two sons Dylan and Jasen. All the above mentioned have seen how bad I want to succeed and have all sacrificed in order to me to be great. Working full time and being a business owner comes with exhausting hours. But my support system has held me down from day one.
