We had the good fortune of connecting with Carmen Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carmen, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Karmyn All 4 You was launched right in the middle of the pandemic. I was working a job that I had been at for 14 years. It was a great experience but I always knew that there was more for me. I knew that wasn’t the end for me. So finally I stepped out on Faith and did what so many others have done to follow their goals and dreams! I actually started the business.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Being a creative can be very challenging because my hands are in so many baskets. I am a singer/songwriter since age 5, I have an online apparel store where I design the material, I also do photography and business marketing. I really didn’t discover that there was more to me than just singing until during the pandemic. I walked away from a job that I had been working for 14 years. It actually was an easy decision because I always knew that there had to be something more. So I have the pandemic to thank for helping realize that wealth was always in my hands! And God for that matter. Entrepreneurship is such a beautiful thing and it definitely requires faith, focus, and determination. So many people rely on the opinion of others that they won’t step out and do what’s in their hearts. I’ve come to a place where I’m going to do whatever is in my heart not matter the outcome. To be able to say I DID IT is the most fulfilling thing.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hmmmm…….this is kinda hard because I’m such an introvert at times. However when I do hang out I make it memorable. I love eating at little alley steak house. The steak there just melts in your mouth and the ambiance is beautiful. Did I mention I like to eat? lol With that being said, I love eating at Optimus. The braised greens are my go too! I can just order that as a main course. Stone Mountain is also a great place for exercise and relaxation. The Atlanta BeltLine gives you that California vibe. I like going there as well. There are so many other places in Atlanta that offer a great experience.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate this shout out to my awesome husband, my children and my family who always supports! And most of all my savior Jesus Christ. Having this support system keeps me going.
