Meet Carlos Reeves Jr | Clothing Brand CEO/FOUNDER

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carlos Reeves Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carlos, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My whole thought on starting a business was to make money and to also wear my own brand and have others wear my brand someday. Growing up you see alot of people getting into fashion and named brand clothing. So, I thought to myself, i wanted that. I always wanted to have my own brand and have people wear something I made. Not just for the money but also for inspiration. Another reason to starting a business was because I didn’t want to work for people no more. I wanted to be my own boss regardless of the risk and obstacles ahead of me, I knew it wasn’t going to be easy.

What should our readers know about your business?
LivingSteadyDreamsLtdCo is my brand and it is made for everyone, our motto is “The Real Way To Live Your Life”. This means to choose your own path in life but take your time and dont rush to achieve your goals. I always wanted people to understand the real way to live your life is by living a steady lifestyle to accomplish your dreams. Sometimes we tend to move too fast and get caught up losing everything. When you take your time to do things right, more pieces to your vision come together. I am really proud that others are starting to recognize my brand and what it stands for because I’ve been trying to get things started since 2014. Coming straight out of high-school with no money or job with a vision was a bit of a struggle but thats why I thank my family and friends for always being there to see how far I have gotten today. One of my biggest struggles was back in 2016, getting caught up with the law. I learned that i had so much freedom and I was suppose to be the main men in charge but was not even able to provide for myself at the time and I felt like a burden to my family due to losing jobs, and not having enough money to even pay my own rent at the time. I hosted house parties and got caught up. Im just happy to be done with that. Over the past few years I started to get more involved with business, entrepreneurship and even the military. The military was one my goals to start a business. It was a door to help me pay for school and on my down time focus on running a business. It’s a challenge being a rifleman and I’ve learned from my mom to use the military for it’s benefits and also other mentors to do it as well. What I would like the world to know about me is that I’m very enthusiastic and energetic when it comes to my brand. I love spreading good vibes and hope the world knows that you have to make your own path and no matter how hard things get in life, continue to keep going because only you can achieve what you want, no one can do it for you. Take your time and understand your not alone.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If one of my friends or a group of us was to come to town I would show them Caffeine and Octane. A lot of my friends know i love cars and the car scene but CaO Is a car show that is hosted at the perimeter mall every first Sunday of the month. The car scene is very diverse of all models, years and you can catch all type of cars coming in and out of the city. The atmosphere is filled with a lot of people walking around taking picturesand having a great time. They even have some food trucks. Everyone is really friendly and after the car show we would get some food from wherever is open or The Cheesecake Factory. The Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite spots and has a variety of options to choose from on the menu and really good desserts.

My mom, my friends, my family and always would be my Vice President Andrew “SAVAGE” Beamon and my leadership in my battalion in the United States Marine Corps for understanding my goals and dreams.
