Meet Cara D’Adamo | Artist & Actor & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cara D’Adamo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cara, what principle do you value most?
Authenticity, gratitude, kindness, respect, and integrity. Staying true to yourself in a world that is consistently trying to change you, is our greatest gift as an artist. Being truthful to who we are as individuals and people are the foundation to living. We have to speak our truth even if our voice shakes.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I love being an artist. Acting, singing and dancing have always been a form of healing to me. Through everything I have been through in my life, it has given me such a sense of freedom to be able to create. My work and craft as an actor has changed so much through experiencing the ups and downs of life. It has helped me gain a new sense of authenticity and vulnerability for every project that I take on. I am excited about all the projects that I am currently filming and I am truly grateful for the opportunities. It is because dedication, hard work and an amazing team that I am able to see success. It has not been an easy journey, but when you love what you do and you keep working hard success will come! Some of the most important lessons I have learned is to believe in yourself and don’t ever let anyone tell you, you can’t do something.
I am first and foremost a dedicated artist, as well as an entrepreneur. I started my own business as a way to help, teach and mentor younger actors getting started in entertainment. Helping others has always been very important to me.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take them to the theater and museums first to really have the opportunity to experience the culture of Atlanta. Then I would take them to some of my favorite places to eat, Vegetarian Atlanta, BuccaLupo and Superrica. Then for drinks, I would take them to the SkyLounge and the Red Phone Booth. They both have great cocktails!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Thank you to my family, friends and team!
