We had the good fortune of connecting with Candrice Austin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Candrice, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Competing in pageants for so many years. I’d have to pay a mua to come out to the pageant and (paint) my face as is pageant Girls say. I found the brushes being used after a while would feel like pine needles. Fast forward to my retirement in of pageantry in 2018. I was speaking with Tiara (My Bestie)about the experience with the harsh feeling of the mua brushes. We quickly decided to create a fiber so soft and natural to the skin. We agreed to produce a set of Vegan Brushes, We displays the great use of our brushes around the city of Atlanta, only to not find one investor. Tiara then decided, Hey how about I’ll be an investor for first year 2020 just to help shape things along. I’m proud to say here in 2021 I Candee CEO and the only one owner of 2 Girls &A Brush have my beauty brands all around the world from Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Milwaukee, Los Angeles etc,we will launch in Flying Solo retail stores in New York May 1st 2021.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
2 girls & A Brush has faced some rough patches, we have never been discouraged to stop supplying or great products. We went from have 3 sales in one year to 80 sales in 3 months with hard work and consistency you can’t lose. We still struggle with our Instagram platform having very few followers , we keep pushing to get more audience everyday 2girls_and_abrush will have 1k before this year is over. Running a business isn’t easy for the goals you accomplish make it all worth the struggle

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love to eat we will do breakfast at The Breakfast Club I own the only Chanel Chrysler 300 in Atlanta so we’d surely go to the car show on Saturday and Sunday Let’s say lunch at Slotty Vegan and dinner of course at Baltimore of Cascade Rd

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shot out my entire staff and all my Brand Ambassadors all over the world. Worth 2 special shouts out to my D.O.O. (Director of operations)Robin Austin is always there when I need her she steps in and take control and is a all around team player.
