We had the good fortune of connecting with Candi Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Candi, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
“To whom much is given, much will be required.” Luke 12:48. I love this verse becomes it reminds me that my talents, gifts, and time should be used with joy and appreciation. That I should help others by using those gifts and talents. Whatever I have in abundance, I should share for others to also benefit.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’ve been a Licensed Realtor since 2014 assisting individuals with their Real Estate needs. Guiding people in Buying property whether that be for personal or investment, and I also help those who desire to Lease out their property. Over the years I’ve established the Smith & Parramore group with my husband; together we specialize in assisting clients with prepping a home to List for Sale, Home Staging, and Home Redesign to increase Home Values. The group will also go in and help First Time Home Buyers who have purchased a home that may need a little extra care and attention to make it “Move in Ready”.
My eye for detail, communication approach, and ability to educate really sets me a part. A property won’t sell? No problem; I’m going to go in- assess it, address the issue, and advise accordingly. In 2018 I had an opportunity to Fully Stage an entire home for sale… Multiple offers later, I had found a new niche as a Listing Agent. I was passionate about it. My aim was to create the best-selling experience possible and obtain top dollar, while making sure that the home would appraise.
I love hearing and seeing clients react with joy from however we’ve assisted them. A person’s home is not just a shelter; it’s a safe place for them to be themselves, start life fresh, maybe fall in love, or even start a family. To be a part of someone finding that place, really means a lot to me. That takes trust.
The road has not been easy. It has taken a lot of self-discipline, hard work, and desire to continue learning. I’ve been met with my share of challenges and learning curves. I’ve had to stay on top of an ever-changing Real Estate market and design trends. I’ve had to become confident with putting my knowledge into action and thinking outside of the box. One thing that I’ve always felt about this industry is that you will always run into “a new” situation and expect the unexpected.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the Atlanta Beltline. It offers the experience of getting out in nature, being social, enjoying the city and great food. We would also venture into the Buford Highway Food Corridor. I love the authentic international cuisine that can be found on Buford Highway. If it is Summer, we would also find time to enjoy Lake Lanier.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My business partner and husband, Jon Parramore. My old team leader, Jason Tatum, and Assistant Broker, Tom Ellicott. These three have separately and at times collectively worked together to groom me in my success within the Real Estate Industry to become a Top Producing Agent as well as encourage my entrance into the world of Design.
