Meet Candi Daniels | Chef

We had the good fortune of connecting with Candi Daniels and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Candi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I love to cook beautiful delicious food, so why not turn it into a business venture and make a little bit of money.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m really excited about relocating to Atlanta from Columbia, SC to learn more about the food industry and grow myself as business owner and as a person in general. I’m working in a restaurant in the Buckhead area now to learn more. It wasn’t/isn’t always easy being a business owner but I really believe in myself so I know it’s gonna be worth it. Some days I wanna say forget this crap imma just work this job and be happy but that’s not my ultimate goal. I’ve learned so many lessons in this industry. I’ve learned that you can’t please everyone and it’s ok! I want the world to know that I’m coming and I can’t wait to share my gift with some awesome people!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well we would both be lost because I’m new here and I haven’t been out yet!! Lol!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate this shout to my Mom Jacqueline, My Brother Tevin, Grandma Ammie, Grandfather JC, Best Friends Pashen and Akila.
