Hi Camille, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand has been Transparency. Hands Down. I’m a REAL mom. A mom from my community recently described my page. She said “IG feeds are full of look at me posts & I’m a great housewife pictures. For a lot of moms we can’t relate. You share vulnerability and not for likes but for acknowledgment of other mothers and parents. Authentic and very touching”

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is called Moment of Joy Academy. It’s a school of podcasting. We support students through online courses, 1 on 1 coaching and full production of shows. I started this business after leaving my 11 year career as an executive chef. My son was diagnosed with Autism and because of the work to find resources and proper care that it was for us My husband gave me the option to leave work if i wanted and I did. Still being a stay at home mom was unfulfilling to me so I took my love for my hobby and made it a business.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In My city I’m from houston. So you have to hit the Breakfast klub of course and the Turkey Leg hut if your a Foodie.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out all of the amazing mothers who are a part of my community! I create the content but they show up for each other. If I could give an extra shout out with a cherry on top it would be for the moms raising children with disabilities. They are so special to me.
