We had the good fortune of connecting with Cami and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cami, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
I use to have a really hard time balancing work and life and not letting them merge together. To this day it is slightly difficult because people want to know what I do on a daily basis or want to see what I wear or my workout routines. I began to become overwhelmed with feeling like I had to capture every moment I live through.I realized I had to put the camera and phone down for small moments for myself and my family or I was one day going to look up and realize I lived my life through my phone.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I create mommy and lifestyle content on all social media platforms. I feel what sets me apart is that I show my followers that even though I am a mom I also have my own identity and I am still the confident sexy girl I was before a mother and will continue to be after does not matter. Just because I have the title “mom” does not mean I am any less attractive which society tends to do to women.

People always ask how I got the platform that I have today and I will say it just came upon me I never really expected it. I would always post just to post and would love creating videos of my life and romanticizing the smallest things. Tumblr had a huge influence on my creativity since I was young and since then I always strived to post and create the best content I could produce, but with my own twist. I allow people into certain areas of my life and show them who we are.

lessons that I have learned along the way is that people will feel like they know you based on what you post on social media. They interpret everything in their own way regardless if you try to explain it. I think a lot people tend to forget that it does not matter how many followers, views, or likes you get at the end of the day you are just a normal person just like them. I feel the same emotions as any other person and I go through life changes just like any other person.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start by taking her to my all-time favorite restaurant Barcelona wine bar in Atlanta. I would probably take her to the Atlanta Zoo because I have yet to be able to feed the giraffes so I need to scratch that off the bucket list and then have a picnic around there because who doesn’t like a picnic? After those set plans the possibilities are endless there is always something to do in the city.

My favorite places I will say that I feel like are so slept on are science museums. Tellus and the Fernbank Museum are my safe spaces. I feel so relaxed and calm when I visit this museum. They are never crowded and you get to see really cool exhibits.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my parents for being my number one support in everything I do. As well as my baby blue, without her I would be nothing that I am today she has made me strong, compassionate, hardworking, patient, loving, and kind.
