We had the good fortune of connecting with Cameron Little and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cameron, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
My work-life balance has changed over time in a couple of ways. The main thing is me having to adjust to being busy with work some days and then being free on others. Another thing I have gotten good at is planning ahead. I always want to have free days for myself where I can strictly work on music or hang out with my friends. I think about the balance often. I want to work enough to keep consistent money coming in. That’s important. At the same time, I constantly try to adapt so I can have the best schedule for music and my social life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am a 19-year-old producer. I love the art of putting sounds together to make beats that move people. I believe what sets me apart from others is my ability to network with new people and make the interactions feel natural. Everyone wants to work with everyone, but sometimes the opportunity gets shut down because of how robotic those first interactions feel. I’m most proud of the progress that I’ve made since I started making beats in 2022. I’m most excited about how much new talent I will find this year. It wasn’t necessarily easy to get the job I have now with Rhino staging because I waited until I finished school at SAE Atlanta to start working with them. Before I started working with them, I had a few mediocre jobs, but it gave me work experience so it wasn’t all bad. The challenge I’m trying to overcome is finding some studio internships in Atlanta that will work for me, but I know that soon, my connections will help me overcome that obstacle.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I like to shop, and I love clothes, so as soon as they get here we would have to go to some of the consignment shops. Then on Tuesday, we could link up at the studio just so they can see how the magic happens. Wednesday would be a great day to go to Lenox Mall and go to some of the high-end stores to see if anything special catches their eye. Thursday I would have to take them to one of my favorite restaurants in the city called HOBNOB in Atlantic station. Everything on their menu is good + the surrounding area of Atlantic Station is a fun place to be. On Friday night the best move would be a good party. Good music, a lot of people to talk to all while being in Atlanta is a vibe. On Saturday, the best move in my mind would be to get some good wings and enjoy a drive around the city. With all that being said, Sunday would have to be a rest day lol. The places that I have had the most fun in Atlanta would be the Lamborghini dealership, any college campus, and the recording studios.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It’s a couple of people I would like to recognize. Matthew, aka @moodyywho is the first person I would like to shout out. We’ve known each other since elementary school. We were friends BEFORE music. That’s why I believe our bond is special. The second person I would like to shout out would be @Mulhiir. We met through social media very randomly. I think he sent me a DM first and long story short, I saw the big placement with Homixide Gang “Scale Stretcher.” I let him know this was my favorite song on the album and eventually, we got to work on music together in person. It’s more to the story with me and him but I am thankful for the opportunities he has given me and for the other talent he has gotten me around.
