Meet Caleb Burch | Artist / Event Coordinator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Caleb Burch and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Caleb, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think about risk like something us as creatives or entrepreneurs need in order to be fulfilled and reach the happiness we desire, i feel like for most risk is part of what got us on the path we’re on! When we take risk in life they don’t always go to plan so I can say risk taking has came back to bite me, but has also blossomed fruitful relationships with other like minded individuals which i’m forever grateful for !

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I like to think what makes my music feel so personable & sets me apart is the way my delivery on issues i’m battling are brought to light & can be mentioned on any style song which i started doing as a reminder for myself and others that even in those good times somebody might be dealing with bad thoughts or influences or many different things that life can throw at us. I think I’m most proud of my song and music video “America’s Robin” we put a lot of effort into treating the video and giving it the quality it deserved a big thank you to @wyethco again!! I got to where i’m at today through a lot of trial and error, to say it was easy would be a lie. I started pushing out music around 2016/2017 and later on took a break to become Eli!’s manager , after some time i transitioned into throwing events alongside @Truniverse, big shoutout to them for introducing me to this music scene we have in Charlotte a truly special community they’ve created!!! Fast forward I focused on music more and sharpened up on Event Coordination/my music marketing and ended up alongside @TheBridgeClt! Some of the biggest lessons i’ve learned while doing this kind of work is don’t throw all your eggs in one basket and hold yourself accountable for things you can control! Something I would want the world to know about us and what we do is that we do it for the culture of Charlotte and our community & wanna see it continue to grow!! None of this happened over night and we’ll always respect the groundwork that we see these artist put in everyday 🖤

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friend was in town I would take them to Billy Jacks Shack they got great food and a great bar ! really i would take them all through the North Davidson area of Charlotte it has a lot to offer for anyone visiting looking to see what the city has around !! If you’re looking for a fun night out i would recommend going all through Southend preferably Dandelion Market ! & if your looking to sight see checkout uptown at some of the museums! and of course check us out to make sure we don’t have any upcoming events at The Bridge we’ve had rap events, poetry shows, some punk/rock shows & fashion shows!!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I first would like to give a shoutout to one of my closest friends who’s been there since the start of this & has been right beside me through everything is Eli!, he’s a local artist based in Charlotte North Carolina, a very dedicated and inspiring individual find him on instagram @shepickme! second i would like to give a huge shoutout to the guy who’s gave me the opportunity to be where i’m at with our company The Bridge, Cody (@vipcnote) ! A real standup businessman & friend who I’ve always been able to depend on since we started this over a year ago! I would also like to shoutout my right hand on the events Tim(@ceotimm__) , and I also wanna give a huge shoutout to the videographers i’ve had the chance to work with @wyethco @seanstanley_ @tawnuh @freeivory !
