We had the good fortune of connecting with Byron Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Byron, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My Process was if we had better dads it would be a better society
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As an organization has been in operation for 5 years. What sets us apart from others we have boots on the grown in the black communities in Jacksonville. What’s I am most proud of when kids and parents tell me thanks for helping the have nots (the less fortunate) This journey hasn’t been easy I think god daily for guiding me. I figure u have to stay humble and trust your heart. I want the world to know we are changing household one at a time
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Monday’s…I usually hang with my team and have a cigar after work. Tuesday’s. I make sure my son is on his game in his studies Wednesday. Cook my son breakfast before school. I mentor two young men, so make sure they are focus or the right things. Thursday. Check on my families soul food business that’s been a staple in my community for 24 years (soul foood express) Fridays…is wing night with my son and bowling Saturday’s. Relax and talk with some of my friends and play dominos Sundays… work at my families restaurant. Whatever food is left over we donate to the trinity shelter. In Downtown Jacksonville. In the mist of that I also have a full time job. .
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
