We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryttany Victoria and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryttany, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Let’s see, my work life balance has shifted significantly over the years. Recently I took a mindset shift and promised myself I would try to live more in line with Life-Work balance versus Work-Life balance. What that means is that I believe in living LIFE more than living just to work. It’s about creating the moments and enjoying them instead of being consumed with work. Now, as a self proclaimed work-a-holic it isn’t always easy. I like staying busy and I like making money, but I like living up the moments more. Finding that balance is something that I work on daily. Some days it flows freely and some days I lean a little more one way than the next. To me the most important part of it all is to keep trying and find solutions that work.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Moments with B is all about capturing the authenticity behind the brands I work with. It’s about being that extra set of hands on site to snag the content that is often unseen, it’s about showcasing the magic. What sets me apart from other photographers is that I am a model as well as a social media enthusiast. That means my eye is automatically drawn to what is going viral or standing out on social media. I’m able to keep your products/service in focus while making sure you look good online. How? Even when I’m doing behind the scenes work I step in vocally to adjust your body or facial expressions if need be. My favorite part of what I do is that I get to highlight the YOU behind your brand.

Over the last 8 years I’ve explored several avenues of entrepreneurship. We laugh at home and call it “failing forward” but really I think it’s more about the confidence to follow my own path publicly. So much so that I’ve become the master of showcasing the ME behind my brand. From a retail business turned mom blogger, now I’m stepping behind the camera to encourage others to take chances with their brand. While they are in the zone, I’m hearing their story and capturing the content they don’t get to see.

All I want the world to know is that being confident to post is all about knowing your worth, following the fun, and doing what you do. I’ll be there to hype you up and take the pictures.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As an Atlanta native that grew up South of the city I’ve only recently ventured into town. My go-to spots are all along the Beltline, Ponce City Market, and Little Five Points. Why? The photo ops of course! Listen, I’m a photographer who specializes in social media. My friends know I’m going to take them somewhere Instagramable. That being said, Murphy’s for brunch is for sure on the list followed by Ponce City Market for all of the shopping. Now, if they are wanting my neck of the woods? Well then I’d either take them to my hometown and hit Awkward Brewing or to where I live now to check out Downtown Woodstock.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to my children. I never would’ve gained the confidence I have now if it wasn’t for them. Seeing the way they move through the world, hyping them up for the things they love, showed me that I can be myself. Becoming a mom jumpstarted my career and without them I wouldn’t be stepping onto the path I am today.
