Meet Bryan Ward | Brand Ideator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan Ward and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bryan, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
“What I think, I create. I attract to me what I expect. And I expect magnificence.” – @lawofattractions on instagram.
On April, 9, 2023, these are the words that found me while on IG on one of my many browsing expeditions. Although I read these words then, it wasn’t until my significant other spoke this affirmation that it really resonated with me; so much so, I froze in my steps, and we sat and discussed the depths of it. In that moment, I realized that I needed to develop a sense of expectations. Before this moment, I’ve spent majority of my life going with the flow, giving endlessly, to my detriment, with the learned notion that I am to be of service to others without expecting anything in return, at least, not to the same magnitude. With no expectations, I didn’t know what I wanted. And though I did have a love for helping others, often times, moments of deep longing for reciprocity would invade my heart and plague my mind. This affirmation solved that for me and I would like to share what each phrase means to me.
“What I think, I create.”
From the very moment I drew that picture of myself as a vampire eating my brother, I have been on an artist’s odyssey; and relax, I was in kindergarten when I drew this picture haha. And along the way, this imagination has led me to developed a range of creative abilities that have carried me into the presence of many aspiring and talented people. And as of late, this phrase has helped me to merge my desire of helping others while moving my businesses’ mission and vision forward.
“I attract to me what I expect.”
I’ve learned that with any idea, there must be a level of expectation. For me, I spent years unlearning thoughts and patterns that no longer served the new me. Allowing me to discover that my past chaos, those growing pains, and the unspoken ties only assisted in the new expectations transpiring within. And so, I expect all things outside of me to reflect my progress because I am deserving of it.
“And I expect magnificence.”
Simply put, I operate in the state of magnificence and so I am worthy of being a receiver of it. Magnificence, to me, represents the best & brightest outcome of my creation. This is not with a sense of arrogance, though I have grown heavily in my confidence, but knowing that I now have an expectation, and that expectation is magnificence, the work I put in, and all the things I think connects me to what is designed specifically for me.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Brand Ideator, that utilizes Photography, Film, Digital Design and Conceptual Writing to create branding material for individuals and companies. What sets me apart is my desire to bring life back into people, the businesses they establish and their overall outlook on existing.
I’ve gotten to where I am today by imparting in my efforts the highest creative law: PRACTICE. PRACTICE. PRACTICE. As well as challenging myself to continuously grow in all of my services in the same manner a doctor or lawyer stays up on what they’ve learned and the new alike.
Of course it wasn’t easy. I have always voiced and been a living witness to the saying “find what you love more than breathing and cling to it with dear life.” And I developed that saying because I had to learn to balance work, life and my business simultaneously and often life and work would win. Then sometime ago I saw someone talking about the pros to waking up at 5am and it changed my entire perspective on bringing more focus to my business and I’ve been doing so ever since.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Monday: Aquarium & the Botanical Gardens then grab food at Slutty Vegan. Tuesday: Catch a movie at Atlantic Station & do some shopping.
Wednesday: MODA.
Thursday: Go to the Atlanta Symphony then have dinner at Ecco Midtown.
Friday: Illuminarium After dark.
Saturday: Apache XLR then finish the night at Live! at Battery Atlanta.
Sunday: Brunch at King of Diamonds then hang out at Piedmont Park.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I, as I always do, would like to shout out my twin uncles, for being the catalyst to my creativity. I would watch them draw and dream of one day reaching their level. My family and genetics as a whole because artistic expression flows pretty deeply in my bloodline. I want to shoutout my uncle Greg, for whom I didn’t get the opportunity to develop a relationship with him before he passed. My mother used to tell me how he too could do a multitude of different art forms and I just hope I’m doing our legacy justice. My mother and grandmother for supporting me, even with my being my most eccentric and odd self growing up, haha. All of the people I’ve encountered along the way, both still present and absent who encouraged me to never stop doing what I’m doing and reminding me to be true to myself. A special shoutout to my aunt who came into my life when I was a kid. I truly believe she was sent to me to keep me alive because I struggled very heavily with wanting to remain in this reality. Thank you so so much! And of course, the love of my life. For awhile, I felt like I hit a glass ceiling, unable to go further in learning and excelling in my techniques. My recent works being the evidence, I am thankful to have been divinely aligned with you.
