We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryan Reavis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bryan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process was to create a company that hires and roots for the the under dog. After a year of learning and doing free photoshoots I started to apply to big companies trying to land a contracting job or something. After hearing back from NONE of those big companies I just took it into my own hands and create my own business.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think my photography is different than other photographers. In my photography I like to capture a candid moment. Authentic moments are best represented by candid photos. it really makes them think about how they felt at the time as opposed to how they looked. My goal is to capture a moment so dope that it takes them back to that particular moment in time!

I am most proud about not giving up on this dream! Some weeks I am booked and extremely busy. Some weeks I won’t have any bookings. So I’m proud of myself for not giving up! It is easy to over think, talk yourself out of things, or to talk down on yourself. So when that happens I will create and photograph things I want to see on my walls.

I would say I got where I am today professionally by being consistent in my craftsmanship. Having this talent is a major gift from God, and being consistent is how I show stewardship towards my business and photography! It’s easier said than done though. This journey is definitely a marathon and not a sprint. Building great relationships with people is how i dealt with challenges. Most of the time it’s about who you know and how we can help one another grow. I have people in my corner that believe in me and problem solve with me too. I am beyond thankful for my team!

A lesson I’ve learned so far on this journey is to always treat people right and do great honest business.

I want the world to know that InVade Productions is a well trusted and honest business. IT ALL BEGINS WITH AN IDEA. MAYBE YOU WANT TO LAUNCH A BUSINESS. MAYBE YOU WANT TO TURN A HOBBY INTO SOMETHING MORE. OR MAYBE YOU HAVE A CREATIVE PROJECT TO SHARE WITH THE WORLD. WHATEVER IT IS, THE WAY YOU TELL YOUR STORY ONLINE CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ohhhhhhh places to go in Atlanta..!!! We are definitely eating our way through the city. We definitely got to check out Ponce City Market for all types of different food. We are definitely going to Atlantic Station to grab drinks and check out a movie in the open space outside. Definitely gotta have my Wife Samantha Reavis cook up her amazing Jamaican cuisine (THE BEST IN ATLANTA). We gotta stop by Jackson Street Bridge to see that iconic view of downtown Atlanta. And lastly we gonna go to the High Museum and catch some vibes.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my core family and friends. Without them and that early support and encouragement I don’t think I’ll be this far along into my artistry. I want to give another huge shoutout to my Wife, Samantha Reavis!! She is literally the ultimate partner! She pushes me and believes in me to infinity and beyond!!
