We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Goldman Moore and Kereen Henry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brooke, Kereen, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
We wanted women to see themselves reflected in spaces where we’ve historically been excluded like golf and boutique wellness. We redefined it to be joyful, stylish, and culturally relevant rather than just elite and rigid. We didn’t wait for a seat, we built our own clubhouse and filled it with laughter, movement, and sisterhood. Whether you’re bonding over your first swing or your next career move, the Ladies Athletic Club of Atlanta makes networking feel organic. Trying something new in a supportive environment builds courage that carries over into other areas of life.

What should our readers know about your business?
We created the Ladies Athletic Club of Atlanta as two best friends who wanted to create a space where women could get active, connect, and feel genuinely supported. Every experience we offer is rooted in care, authenticity, and intention. From rooftop yoga and beginner golf clinics to stylish social events, we make wellness feel welcoming and fun.

We’re proud to create access to activities like golf and tennis that haven’t always felt inclusive, while also offering popular practices like yoga and pilates that have real physical and mental health benefits. Our events bring women together in a way that builds confidence and connection, we’ve truly been able to build a sisterhood.
Getting here hasn’t been easy. There’s been trial and error, long hours, and constant learning. But the response from our members and community reminds us we’re on the right path. We’ve learned to lead with purpose, listen to our audience, and stay true to our vision.

We want people to know The Ladies Athletic Club of Atlanta was built with intention. That we’re a movement redefining what wellness looks and feels like for modern women—especially those who are constantly pouring into others. We’re here to remind them to pour back into themselves, in spaces that feel joyful, stylish, and safe.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Great question! If one of our best friends was visiting, we would give her the full Ladies Athletic Club experience. The week would be filled with unique holistic wellness activities, community building, and networking that most women don’t get to experience on a weekly basis.

After settling in on Monday, we’d end the day with Sunset Yoga at The Interlock ATL—a serene way to kick off the week with breathtaking views and blissful stretching.

On Tuesday, we’d spend the afternoon at ITA Atlanta, where we’d participate in a rejuvenating tennis lesson and enjoy some friendly competition on the courts.

Wednesday is for giving back! We’d join LACA Cares for a meaningful volunteer session at Mission Atlanta—it’s a rewarding way to give back and support underserved women and children in our community.

On Thursday, we’d head to Bobby Jones Golf Course for a fun, beginner-friendly golf lesson—learn the basics and enjoy some fresh air on the greens.

We would end the week with a Wellness Mixer at Thompson Atlanta Buckhead—a chic evening of mingling, mindful conversations, and celebration.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
At the Ladies Athletic Club of Atlanta, our members are the heartbeat of everything we do. Their commitment to choosing wellness, on their own terms, inspires us every single day. These women are showing up for themselves, for each other, and for a lifestyle rooted in self-prioritization, strength, and sisterhood. Watching them build relationships, celebrate their wins, and hold space for one another is the reason we do what we do.

Our members are the ones who make this space what it is. Their energy, feedback, and trust have shaped every detail of the Ladies Athletic Club of Atlanta experience—from our curated events to the way we show up with intention. This journey wouldn’t be possible without them, and they deserve just as much recognition for the growth and impact Ladies Athletic Club of Atlanta continues to have.
