We had the good fortune of connecting with Brodie Reardon and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brodie Reardon, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe the most important factor behind any success is to work hard and try to better yourself everyday, never settle for less. Some days all I want to do is lay in bed and take a day to rest but I always try to push myself to do at least one productive task to better myself. Whether it is working on my website, drawing up some graphics, or working on styling decks, there is always something you can do to improve yourself.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a stylist I believe I have a very special aesthetic that not many people have in the industry. I grew up skateboarding so a huge influence in my fashion and styling comes from that and because of it my eye for authentic streetwear is very strong. Since I have also been working with celebrities I have been thrown into this world of luxury clothing and tailored suiting. The mix of the two is extremely valuable because I can adapt very well from editorials, to everyday wear, to red carpet.

I want people to know that I can do a lot more than just dress people in streetwear clothing and have the ability to adapt to clients personal style.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When friends come to visit me in the city usually we go out skateboarding because NYC is like a huge skatepark!

When we aren’t skating I would bring them shopping around SOHO or BK. A few stores I love are Beacons Closet, CHCM, Corridor, and Carhartt WIP.

I am also very big on museums and love art. My favorite museum would probably be MOMA but I really need to go to the Guggenheim soon.

My favorite restaurant is either KYU which is a Korean BBQ place or Barano which is an Italian restaurant.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Right now I am working full time as an assistant celebrity stylist to Michael Fisher. I have been working with Michael for over a year now and throughout that time he has taught me so much, helped me get my own jobs, and is a great mentor figure in and outside of work. I also cannot thank my brother (Liam Reardon) enough for getting me into the production world and to Amber Simiriglia for introducing me to Michael. I have also had amazing family and friends that have supported me every step of the way.
