We had the good fortune of connecting with BRODEE WIT DA 40 and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi BRODEE, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Really for me it was the ownership and having a chance to be hands on

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My journey with music began at 13 when I started producing for the local rap guys around my Los Angeles neighborhood and falling in love with the process of it all. After that I began writing music for myself then other ppl. Once I realized I was good at it I took it a little more serious and took the time a learned more about the business. Shortly after I landed my first record contract from a small indie label as an artist which didn’t last long due to reasons still unknown. I then went back to local work with studios and artist just to keep my tools sharp that would eventually land me in front of some well known artist in hip hop such as ‘BAD AZZ’, ‘GANGSTA ‘FRON THE COMRADS and eventually “SNOOP DOGG”.I began working as a producer and engineer for DOGGTOWN ENT which was a sub label for SNOPP DOGGS “DOGGHOUSE RECORD: record company. Unfortunately shortly after that I received a 10 year prison sentence that completely changed the course of my life. After my time in prison I was released in 2020 and began my journey in the music industry working as a work for hirer producer, engineer and basically what ever I could do around music which would land me around a artistby the name of “G PERICO” to collab on a song called ‘NO EVIDENCE” produced by “KOMRON” which gained some traction in the summer of 2021 then I produced a record called ‘STREETS MADE ME COLD’ FT GLASSES MALONE AND E WILL that really opened peoples eyes and the talk began about this unknown artist producer from the WESTMONT DISTRICT of south central Los Angeles. Shortly after I you could see me along side of people like ‘TREY SONGZ’ “TRU CARR” “ELIJAH BANX” ‘BINO RIDEAUX’ SNOOPY HARVARD’ ‘COOT’and a list of other artist big and small. Currently I just finished up two episodes of “BADDIES EAST” for the “ZEUS” EP 4 EP 8 which features “FREAK NIC 23” BY GINA MAYHEM better known as “ROLLIE POLLIE” to the world. Im in the studio working on my album THE DEATH AND RESSORECTION OF BRODEE”. More singles on the way and two films I will be featured in “HYDE PARK BY TKO FILM AND ZERO DOLLAS BY ZFILMS COOMING SOON

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
