We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany White and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittany, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
What makes me truly happy is being surrounded by incredible colleagues who motivate, challenge, inspire, and support me daily, the excitement of having the opportunities that I have to explore new destinations through travel, and the thrill of being immersed in the world of amazing cars on weekends throughout the year. Each of these experiences adds a unique dimension to my life and brings me immense joy and fulfillment and I can’t picture my life being any other way.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Growing up, I never wanted to be a model. You couldn’t pay me to stand in front of a camera for a photo. I dreamed of being a vet or a designer. As I grew older I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. After going out with a friend one night a photographer reached out to me and asked to set up a photoshoot and it took off from there! It’s crazy to think that was almost 10 years ago. The idea of traveling around the country and having my picture taken seemed like something out of a dream. It felt so distant from my reality that I never even considered it a possibility. But as life unfolded, opportunities arose, and I found myself on unexpected paths. Now, reflecting on where I am, it’s surreal to realize that I’m living out a dream I never even dared to imagine. Life has a way of surprising us, and I’m grateful for the journey that has led me to this point.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I had a friend visiting for a week the very first morning I’d be taking them to Martin’s to get a biscuit! You can’t deny how great they are and I’m the type of person who will wait in the drive thru for an hour if needed.
We’d definitely go to Puttshack for some friendly competition! The food and drinks there are also amazing! The margherita flatbread is my favorite!
We’d definitely go walk the beltline and hit up some of the new restaurants along the way such as Breaker Breaker.
For a night out on the town we’d travel into Buckhead and bar hop! From playing skiball at Red Door to visiting Mick behind the bar at 5 Paces Inn, there’s never a dull moment!
And of course I’d check all the local tracks such as Road Atlanta, Lanier Raceplex, and Atlanta Motor Speedway to see if any events were going on during the time of their visit!
If we were feeling seeing a live show, we’d be heading the masquerade in underground Atlanta! I grew up at the old location in the old fourth ward praying I never fell through the floor because it would shake so hard! Daquiriville is also next door to the venue and who doesn’t love amazing drinks!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give a special shoutout to Charlan and Heidi Buenaventura! I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for allowing me a place within your business and family, and always going above and beyond, even when you don’t have to. Your constant support and reliability mean the world to me, and I’m grateful to have you there whenever I need you. Thank you for being such incredible presences in my life.
