Meet Brittany Sarumi

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Sarumi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Brittany, thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
❌Treme Interview
[Your Name] – Xtreme Step Fitness Instructor
I am Bxtreme or Brittany by birth 😉 and I’m passionate about movement, energy, & empowerment. I’ve dedicated my journey to helping others push their limits & transform their lives through Xtreme Step Fitness. As a Certified Instructor, I specialize in high-energy, rhythm-based step workouts that not only challenge the body but also uplift the spirit.
What sets me apart is my dynamic approach—combining intense cardio, rhythmic breakdowns, & motivating beats to create an experience that’s fun & effective. My journey began as a student stepping in Sacramento, CA & after becoming certified, I ventured here to Atlanta with a love for step & a desire to inspire others to get moving. Over the years, I have honed my craft, mastering all technique levels & building a community of individuals who thrive on sweat, strength, and self-improvement.
For me, step fitness is more than just a workout—it’s a mindset, a lifestyle, & a source of confidence—hence the “BXtreme”. My mission is to help people break barriers, unleash their inner power, and feel unstoppable. #XtremeMindXtremeGrind
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, my classes are designed to challenge, motivate, & leave you feeling amazed that fun & cardio can be in the same sentence.
Join me on this journey—let’s step higher, push harder, and transform together!
Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
Since our last conversation, it’s been an incredible journey filled with challenges, growth, & exciting new opportunities. From pushing my limits as an Xtreme Step student AND Instructor to expanding my reach & impact via social media, classes, & performances, every step (literally!) has been a learning experience. I’ve been working on giving back to the community through free events, keeping our instructors motivated & unified, setting up live performances on those PRO stages & some major gems for Xtreme Atlanta Metro. It’s been amazing to see the progress—not just in myself, but in the incredible community we’re building. Of course, there have been highs & lows, moments of exhaustion, & times of pure exhilaration, but that’s what makes the Xtreme so rewarding! Right now, I’m most excited about the upcoming connections being made with big names in the city, music to elevate & distinguish Bxtreme & continued bonding amongst the big steppas! I can’t wait to see what’s next. My journey is constantly evolving, & I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to share it with you.
